Description

This is a fantastic playing and sounding Epiphone FT-79 Texan from 1966! This guitar has so much character and has aged very well. Extremely warm and pronounced tone, reminds me of a golden era Gibson J45 a bit.

There is a few cracks on the back, all of which have been profesionally address, with wood bracing inside the guitar. Despite its wear, and repairs the guitar is totally structurally sound and playing great.

Otherwise this guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear as you would expect from a vintage instrument. The body shows various scratches, scuffs, and dents all throughout and there's also finish checking on the upper bout of the body as well as along the back of the neck and headstock. Much of the finish on the front of the headstock has peeled off as well. The frets are used but still play great and the action feels comfortable all the way down the neck.

This guitar is all original.

Includes the pictured Guild hard case.
