Before you get too excited, the good news, This guitar is 100% playable with a straight neck, good neck angle and strong sound, with low action. Now the bad news... It is well worn with many old repairs. All of them well done and solid, but extensive. Cracked , and well repaired but poorly touched up heel crack(nothing at the headstock!) . 4-5 Top cracks including a nice football splice in the spruce approx 1"X!/2" . There is also a small side patch 3/4"X4" glued into the sides. A good back and sides & neck heel finish would work wonders. Needs no work at all to play the guitar . Factory Jumbo fretts show a lot of even but fairly deep wear. Got some life left, and a striking Brazilian board.... orig. Tuners, bridge may or may not be replaced, could be right. Nickle ES 175 type tailpiece. Tuners are like Everly brothers deeply lined Klusons. Overall a great ready to play guitar that could be COSMETICALY" improved. Has a black Gibson red interior padded softshell ( chipboard) case. About 1/2 the price of a clean one. Ser.# 175XXX .
