Rare 1985 Epiphone Japan Sheraton w/ factory Gibson case!

HOLD...Very nice 1985 Epiphone Matsumoku-made Sheraton with top-of-the-line specs. I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better example of this rare model. This guitar not only looks incredible it's truly an excellent guitar. The guitar plays very easy and sounds amazing! It's a very balanced and warm tone. The Birdseye Maple is all over the top and back. The original natural finish is unaltered and in excellent condition.

Three piece maple neck with walnut stringers. The neck is wide and slim but gets a bit bigger as you go down the neck. The fingerboard is rosewood and is almost black. The grain is very nice. The fingerboard has nibs as usual on the high-grade Japanese guitars. The fretboard inlays are a very nice touch and are pearl blocks with abalone inserts. The original frets are in very good condition with some light wear but plenty of life for the future.

No cracks, or breaks anywhere. It's super clean and is collector-grade. The guitar is all original except for the strap buttons. It comes with the original Gibson hardshell case and case keys.

Weight: 8.4 lbs.
