This guitar was quite the surprise after I finished the set-up and plugged it in. It played well but it was probably the best sounding Epiphone I have ever played. It was made in Korea. It is stamped 2nd but at this point there is no clear reason why. Probably some small cosmetic flaw that has been hidden by 18 years on a stand(see the stand stain on the back). It shows no fret wear although the gold is tarnished as can be expected. It has just been set up with 10 gauge strings and plays without issue. Pickups are Epiphone 57CH in the neck and HotCH in the bridge. the neck is a medium, rounded profile. The guitar weighs a comfortable 8lbs., 12oz.. It ships in the generic hard shell case as shown.
