Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard, Aged Dark Cherry Burst
Made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Limited Edition Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard is Epiphone's stunning recreation of the rare vintage classic. Built in China, this guitar features a mahogany solidbody with a carved hard maple cap, complete with a AAA figured maple veneer, a cream binding, and an Aged Dark Cherry Burst finish. The comfortable '59 rounded C-profile mahogany neck has a long neck tenon, and is home to a smooth Indian laurel fingerboard.
This guitar is outfitted with a pair of Gibson USA Burstbucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups, capable of putting out a wicked tonality, and shapeable using the dual volume and dual tone CTS pot controls, along with Mallory capacitors and '50s-era wiring and a three-way toggle switch.
