Here we have a 2007 Epiphone Les Paul Ultra. This would be a great guitar for a budget-minded guitarist who wanted to venture into the Les Paul world. This one has a chambered Alder body which provides substantial weight relief (6 pounds 9 ounces) compared to a typical Les Paul model (often well over the 9 pound mark). It will definitely make your back and neck much happier.

Basic Specs: Gold Grover Rotomatic tuners. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width. Maple neck with 25 inch scale length. Neck depth is .80 inches at the first fret and .95 inches at the twelfth fret. Pickguard has been removed to take full advantage of the beautiful high gloss Quilted Maple top. Satin finish neck for smooth playing. Bound Rosewood neck with 22 frets and a 12 inch radius. Pearloid Trapezoidal inlays. The Ultra model comes with Epiphone USA humbucker pickups: 50SR in the neck and 50 ST in the bridge. 500K pots. Gold ABR-1 bridge and lock-a-matic tailpiece.
