The first year (59) Epiphone Sheratons were a hybrid of Epiphone parts and Gibson parts made shortly after Gibson acquired Epiphone in the late 50's. These guitars have a big fat deep vee neck made by Epiphone and New York single coil pickups. Construction is virtually identical to an ES-355. The inlays are a little fancier as is the headstock but, oh, that neck. No 355 ever had one like this. Factory Grovers. By 1960, they had changed the pickups to mini hums, so this version is pretty rare. This one has a Bigsby.
