Here for your consideration is a most rare guitar, a vintage 100% original 1965 Epiphone Sheraton Guitar. This guitar was a one owner guitar which was owned by an old time previous Gibson employee who worked at the Kalamazoo factory during the 1960's. This guitar was displayed at the January 1966 NAMM Show as this was the first year that a cherry red Sheraton was made. The guitar is in totally incredible condition. You would be hard pressed to find a cleaner example anywhere, the photos attached to this listing will speak for themselves. A deep rich cherry red finish that is accented with beautiful rich gold hardware which makes this guitar a drop dead beautiful instrument. The Epiphone Sheraton guitar model was made by Gibson Guitar Company as a fancier cousin to the Gibson ES-355. Only 20 of these guitars were made in the cherry red finish with the Trem-O-Tone Vibrato tailpiece. The guitar comes along with it's original Epiphone hard shell case with a plush dark blue lining.
