1965 Epiphone Sheraton Wide Nut!

ON-HOLD... Here is a a great-playing and sounding 1965 Epiphone Sheraton in cherry sunburst! Nice honest nearly 60 year old vintage Epiphone Sheraton guitar made in Kalamazoo at the Gibson factory alongside the ES-355's etc. This one features the wider nut for Epiphone at this time 1-5/8" nut width. Later in 1965 they would narrow the nut making this earlier one more desirable. Very cool factory stinger.

All the finish is original and there are no repairs. Interestingly the treble side waist is about 1/2" slimmer than the bass side. We've seen this before in this era. The guitar is all original with no changes and includes the original case and a photo copy of the original purchase agreement. Over $1200 with Gibson amp! Not a cheap guitar back in 1965... The guitar is in excellent condition overall with just a few small dings and light scratches here and there. Comes with the original case.
