2014 Epiphone Swingster Wine Red

Summary: This Epiphone Swingster is in phenomenal used shape, features Swingbuckers with series/parallel push/pull tone pots and smooth Bigsby vibrato unit. Our in house luthier has just detailed the fret ends for a smooth feel down the edge of the fingerboard and set it up with a new set of 10 gauge strings and low action.

Body: The body features a spruce top, a laminated birch/flame maple hollow construction, w/b/w binding, cutaway and gloss wine red finish.

Neck: The 3 piece maple neck has a bound rosewood fingerboard, w/b/w purfling, block inlays, 24 3/4” scale length and 1.675” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: The Epiphone Emperor Swingster features updated electronics including SwingBucker pickups with push/pull tone controls that allows a choice of standard series or parallel pickup wiring for a brighter tone, chrome hardware, Grover Rotomatic 16:1 tuners, bound f-holes, and a Bigsby licensed vibrato tailpiece with wire arm along with a "pinned"(non-floating) Tune-O-matic bridge with roller saddles for smooth operation and accurate return to pitch which is preferred when using the vibrato.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent used condition with just a small amount of pick scratching on the top, some light scratches on the sides and some minor buckle rash.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
