1964 Epiphone Texan FT-79 Acoustic Guitar Near Mint with Original Hang Tag & Case

Vintage Gear America is pleased to offer this extremely nice example of an all-original 1964 Epiphone FT-79 Texan serial number 157084 with original hang tag/owners' manual and grey case. Beautiful stupid clean fine guitar instrument just a few points below a 10, has typical and unavoidable warping and cracking of the original phenolic adjustable bridge and ceramic saddle slight chip at one end. The guitar is 100% and in spite of the usually problematic bridge the guitar plays and sounds fantastic with a super nice comfy C shaped wide neck and factory large frets with no wear, perfectly straight neck with a working truss rod, recently adjusted. Sunburst finish on top has just a few weather checks, none on back, no fading of color, strong sunburst very attractive. No buckle wear on back no pressure marks or scratches, the guitar has a few minor little dings but otherwise showroom perfect like to day it was made.
