1939 Epiphone Triumph Sunburst

Here's a 1939 Epiphone Triumph Archtop in Sunburst finish. Everything is original with the exception of the tailpiece. No breaks or cracks in the body. There's been some binding repair, which is solid and good to go! The guitar measures at 17 3/8" at the bout, with a 1 3/4" nut width, and 25.5" scale. Solid bookmatched hand carved Adirondack spruce top, solid hand carved maple back, Honduras mahogany neck with 3-ply walnut/maple centerstripe, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl diamond inlays, ornate "snowflake" style mother-of-pearl peghead inlay, 3-ply top binding, bound fingerboard and headstock. Playability is exceptional on this one, with low action down the board, and a ton of room left in the bridge to go down for future adjustments. Tonally it sounds beautiful: full, warm, with crisp clarity. Really sounds amazing. These New York Masterbuilt Archtops were so well made, and here's yet another example. HSC!
