For your consideration a 2006 Ernie Ball Music Man 20th Anniversary Silhouette with a “Limited Edition Sunburst” finish! In 1971 Forrest White and Tom Walker formed Tri-Sonix, INC. Forrest White had been working with Leo Fender since 1954, at first as a plant manager, eventually becoming the Vice President of Fender. Leo was a silent partner in the formative years because he was still under his ten year non-compete contract from selling Fender to CBS. After briefly being called Musitek, INC, they settled on the name Music Man. The board of the company voted Leo Fender President of Music Man in 1975! Ernie Ball would acquire the company in 1984. As they started to produce more new models (one being the Silhouette) they became more widely recognized!
