ESP E-II Eclipse DB: Unmatched Style and Performance

The ESP E-II Eclipse DB stands out as one of the most visually striking guitars in the ESP lineup. Featuring a Vintage Black finish complemented by age-yellowed multi-binding and gold hardware, this guitar exudes a timeless, rock-ready aesthetic. But the E-II Eclipse DB is more than just a showpiece; it’s designed for unparalleled playability and sonic versatility, making it a top choice for serious musicians.

Premium Build and Superior Playability

Crafted with precision in ESP’s Tokyo factory, the E-II Eclipse DB boasts a set-neck design for seamless access to the highest frets. The guitar features a solid mahogany body topped with maple, offering a rich and balanced tone. The one-piece mahogany neck with a thin U contour and an ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets ensure smooth playability and comfort, whether you're playing intricate solos or heavy riffs.

Powerful EMG Pickups for Versatile Sound

Equipped with EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups, the E-II Eclipse DB delivers a wide range of tones. The active electronics provide everything from deep, soulful cleans to aggressive, high-gain distortions. The intuitive control layout, featuring two volume knobs, one tone knob, and a toggle switch, allows for quick and easy adjustments, making it ideal for both studio work and live performances.

High-End Hardware and Elegant Finishing Touches

The E-II Eclipse DB is outfitted with top-tier hardware to ensure reliable performance. Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece provide exceptional tuning stability and sustain. The gold hardware not only enhances the guitar’s visual appeal but also adds a touch of luxury. Additional features include ESP strap locks for secure handling and a bone nut for improved tonal quality.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
