Based on James' personal custom instrument design, this Korea-made axe features the set-neck construction of a mahogany body with a maple cap, and a three-piece mahogany neck with a Macassar ebony fingerboard and twenty-two extra-jumbo frets.
The LTD Iron Cross is powered by James' own EMG JH SET active pickups, which roar with a striking yet crisp tonality that can be molded by the two volumes and master tone control, along with the three-way toggle switch (the switch on the upper bout is not wired and is purely for aesthetic purposes). The TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece sit next to the awesome Iron Cross decal for impressive sustain matched by stunning good looks.
