Description

One of two things happened with this bass: Either it was created in the midnight hour by the elves at ESP or it was custom ordered and only one was made before the lawyers at Spector found out about it. I can't think of any other way this bass escaped the ESP factory, but here it is and I've never seen another one like it. Now, all about the bass...

I'm not afraid to start a fight and having owned and/or sold approximately 50 Spector basses, I will state this; I would put this bass up against any non-Hazlab Spector out there. The action is super low and the neck feel is quick and slippery. Played acoustically, the sound is bright and pingy, especially when slappin' and poppin'.

The twin Basslines Jazz pickups are stout and ballsy- you can easily get everything from a low-end funk tone to a great mid-rangy bark that cuts through like a hot, yellow knife. The bass itself is lightweight and well-balanced. You will not want to put it down, period.

Being a master of the obvious, I have to point out the two noticeable dings on the butt and two finish cracks in front of the neck pickup. Nome of these affect the tone, playability, and awesomeness of the bass, but they are there and I feel must be mentioned. There is some light belt-buckling on the back of the body, but it's not too serious and does not penetrate the finish. There is also a small circle of delamination under the ESP logo on the headstock, but it is stable and not coming off.

If you want to get some attention, just step up onstage with this beast slung around your shoulder and the hotties will be batting their eyes at you before you can say scat. Please take a look at the pictures, let us know if you have any questions and as always, we thank you for stopping by!
