Evolving from the revered EVH 5150III amplifiers, the Iconic Series delivers the searing sound and growling gain that Eddie Van Halen made famous throughout his groundbreaking career.
This amp features two 6L6 power tubes, voiced by a complex, multi-stage hybrid preamp section anchored by a duet of ECC83 tubes providing all the firepower a modern guitarist needs. The cab is constructed out of MDF with special internal plywood baffling for tight and increased bass response, and houses a custom designed EVH 12" Celestion speaker voiced specifically for this preamp circuit — with two channels, Green and Red, boasting an overdrive button for increased gain and a fiery crunch that's ideal for blistering leads. With its own gain and volume controls with each channel, a noise gate, boost control and a shared EQ, the Iconic 5150 will have you ruling the stage with ultimate ease.
