If its good enough for “The wizard of strings” its good enough for me! Up for grabs a 2013 Fairbanks F30 Roy Smeck. Dale Fairbanks is an extremely talented luthier who runs a one man shop in Connecticut. His builds are inspired by classic 20s-40s vintage acoustics. It comes as no surprise that he decided to try his hand at the highly coveted Roy Smeck model. The original Gibson models are extremely rare and would cost you at least twice as much. In a competition this 7 year old Fairbanks would give a vintage one a run for its money! Amazing big bright sound. Great bass response. Very well balanced tone with beautiful warm presences.
