Used FBB Player 4 Fretless Bass (code name “Lightning Bolt”), serial number 1095-4.

This custom handmade bass is in excellent condition. Neck is great, cosmetically clean.

FBB Bassworks located in Amhearst MA, builds basses in batches of 6-8 instruments. As each batch comes to a close, a new one is formed. Specifications of instruments in each new batch are generated based on current inventory and production considerations, as well as feedback from new and existing customers.

FBB offers a variety of prototype and one-off basses at any given time, and interested parties can assume control over an instrument about to be produced or can special order an instrument to their desired specifications.

This “Lighting Bolt” began production on 8/4/04 and was completed and shipped on 3/9/05.

Featuring exotic woods and advanced magnetic and piezo electronics, this is a “cutting edge” bass. The magnetic pickup sounds like Jaco thru a preamp. The piezo gives it an acoustic dimension.

Immensely playable only begins to describe this instrument. Own something special!
