There are a lot of Strats in the world but this has gotta be one of the cooler ones. Not only does it come in a great custom color but it's an early "Dan Smith" era Fender. Dan Smith is a big name in Fender land, having steered their ship into the modern era. He was brought in to help them regain their early magic and managed to do just that. He introduced both the AVRI line and helped return their standard guitars to more vintage spec. Gone is the "bullet." Back is the smaller headstock and more stable 4-bolt neck. The trademark body contours were back as well after slowly disappearing over the years.
This one is in overall great shape. No breaks or repairs, the main wear is the paint in the forearm area. Frets have recently been dressed so it plays great. The neck is very much like most early 80s Fender necks, kind of a thin, soft v. 7.25" radius, 1-21/32" wide at the nut. It has been professionally shielded as well so this one is totally gig-ready. Also... it's a hardtail! Behold... tuning stability!
