2018 Fender '55 Closet Classic Telecaster (1955 reissue) Desert Tan with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: This Custom Shop Telecaster has a beautiful Desert Tan finish with lots of finish checking and era correct appointments. The ‘55 “Lush Closet Classic” is perfect for someone who wants a 55 style Telecaster without the super beat up look but feels and sounds like a true vintage Telecaster. This one is in like-new condition and ships in the original tweed hard-shell case with COA, spec sheet and Fender literature.

Body: Ash body with a Desert Tan finish, nitro lacquer checking all over and a one ply white pickguard.

Neck: The maple neck has a soft V shape, 7 ¼” fretboard radius, bone nut, 25.5” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Chicago Custom Wound single coil Telecaster pickups, 3-way switch, volume, tone, vintage style tuning keys and string-through-body bridge with 3 steel saddles.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in like new condition with lots of light finish checking. There is one small chip in the finish by the first fret (see picture).

Playability: Our in-house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
