1960 Fender 5E3 Deluxe Tweed, Very Good, $4,299.00

Up for sale is a wonderful sounding 1960 Narrow Panel Fender Tweed Deluxe 5E3 1×12 combo amplifier. Favored among collectors and players, the 5E3 Deluxe is one of the more coveted Tweed Fender amps of the 1950s; nailing that classic and unmistakable breakup we’ve all come to love from Fender tweeds. Overall the circuit looks nice and tidy with the exception of a replaced filter capacitor and extension speaker jack. The transformers are original and the vintage Jensen replacement dates to 1960. The tube chart and chassis is coded “JG” dating to July of 1960. Sounds and functions great! Currently a shop favorite and one of my personal favorite Fender circuits of all time.

Condition: Overall in good to very good condition. Lots of character on this one! Stains from one too many drinks set on top, wear in the tweed and a few cigarette burns too. Speaker is a vintage Jensen, but not original.

Modifications: Replaced handle, speaker, extension speaker jack and one replaced filter capacitor.
