2011 Fender '60s Closet Classic Sea Foam Green

Summary: This Fenders Custom Shop has an eye-catching Sea Foam green Closet Classic finish with very subtly finish checking and patina. It has a nice full-feeling flame maple neck with a slab board rosewood fretboard and ships in its original hard-shell case with COA and case candy. Our in house luthier has just restrung with guitar with a new set of 10s and set it up with low action.

Body: Sea Foam Green nitro lacquer finished alder body with modest “Closet Classic” patina and a 3 ply vintage white pickguard.

Neck: Flame maple neck with “slab” rosewood fingerboard, bone nut, 25 1/2” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 2 Custom Shop Telecaster pickups with volume, tone, 3 way switch, string-through-the-body bridge and steel saddles and vintage style tuners.

Cosmetics: This Fender has a subtle patina from the factory, the finish is dulled a bit, has a few dings in the body and there is a bit of finish checking. The frets have a small amount of wear, mostly on the first 2 frets but it doesn’t hinder playability and they are overall in great shape.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. This guitar has a lot of natural sustain and resonance.
