Description

This listing is for a Fender '62 RI Telecaster made in Japan in 1992. This guitar was special ordered with a Fender Japan Custom Maple Fretboard neck. This is the only example of a MIJ maple neck telecaster custom we have seen. The guitar has some changed parts: the bridge pickup was replaced with a Gotoh TL-Custom/B, the pickguard is replaced, the bridge is a newer reproduction. It is good shape with some minor dings and dents in the finish. It weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces. It has been pro set up in our shop and is playing and sounding great.
