2015 Fender Custom Shop 63' Relic Telecaster Olympic White

Summary: This Custom Shop ’63 relic is a beautiful playing Telecaster with lots of realistic distressing from the factory making for a road worthy guitar with a nice broken-in feel. This one is from their time machine series and ships in its’ original hard-shell case with COA and Fender literature.

Body: Solid alder body with distressed Olympic white finish and 3 ply mint guard.

Neck: Quartersawn maple neck with a mid-’60s oval “C” shape, round-laminate rosewood fretboard with 9.5” radius, 21 narrow jumbo frets, 1.65” nut width and 25.5” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: American Vintage ‘64 Gray-Bottom Single-Coil Tele pickups with 3 way switch, volume, tone, 3-saddle American vintage strings-through-body bridge with threaded steel saddles, Grease-Bucket tone circuit and American vintage tuning machines.

Cosmetics: This Tele features lots of tasteful, factory distressed finish checking, wear through the edges and slight corrosion on the hardware but no signs of abuse and no cracks, breaks or visible repairs.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
