Summary: Opening the case on this new old stock (NOS) Custom Shop Fender is as close as we can get to the feeling of receiving a brand new Fender in 1967. The Shoreline Gold finish is immaculate, the pickups have a phenomenally sweet, open Tele tone and the guitar is overall in superb condition. Our in-house guitar tech has just restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and set it up with low action. It ships in its original hard-shell case with COA and Fender literature.
*Note: The original COA was lost but reprinted in 2020 which explains why the COA says 2020 and not 2005.

Body: Solid alder body finished in nitro lacquer “Shoreline Gold”. Topped off with a 3 ply white pickguard.

Neck: C shaped maple neck with round-laminate rosewood fingerboard, 9.5” radius, bone nut, 25.5” scale length and 1 5/8” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 1967 Custom Shop Telecaster pickups, 3-way switch, volume, tone, 3 steel saddles on a string-through-body bridge and F stamped tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This Tele is in superb used shape with no notable dings, dents, scratches or blemishes. There are no breaks, cracks or visible repairs.

Playability: Our in-house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
