Fender Albert Hammond Jr Signature Stratocaster, Olympic White
The Fender Albert Hammond Jr Signature Stratocaster celebrates the unique sound and iconic style that continues to define generations of young guitarists starting bands in the back of their garages. Custom built in Mexico, this guitar adds onto the original 1985 reissue of a '72 Strat that Albert used to lay down the guitar tracks for The Strokes' catalog as well as his solo work — boasting an alder solidbody with a gloss finish, a smooth modern C-profile maple neck and a slick and easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard on top.
As a unique touch, Fender replicated Hammond's customized pickups switching for the three Custom Ceramic single coil pickups: pickup switch position four activates the neck and bridge pickups in tandem, while positions one and three are reversed from the traditional layout. Hammond's signature graces the back of the large '70s-style headstock, bringing his signature model together to replicate a beast of a guitar that you will instantly fall in love with.
