For the bassist who craves pure vintage Fender style, the Fender American Vintage '74 Jazz Bass presents an original-era model built with meticulous attention to accurate detail and authenticity. Masterfully-crafted in America, this bass features an alder solidbody with a U-profile one-piece maple neck with a matching fingerboard. A few appointments have been added after-market — a pair of Lindy Fralin pickups have been installed fora singing high end and guttural growl, along with a drop-D tuner, a new pickguard and a set of Schaller strap locks.
This bass is in Very Good condition, as the after-market mods installed give it a minor bit of play-wear, leaving the estimated fret life at 90% remaining. The original pickups and pickguard are included in the case. This amazing bass was built using the original tooling and based on actual 1974 models, honoring a great instrument from a fantastic era.
