Do you remember when all of the guys that ever played James Bond walked into any room and the bad guy said "Hey, what's your name?" They all responded with, "Bond. James Bond" and that set the tone for all the butts that were about to get kicked for the next two hours. Well, if Hollyweird ever calls me to be the next Bond (which they never will,) I'll walk into the room in my first scene and when the bad guy asks me my name, I'll respond with, "Black. Montego Black." That's how cool the color of this Strat is.

This guitar comes in at 8 lbs, 3 oz of tonal heaven and is one of the most versatile Strats on the planet. We all know about the S-1 switching system, but when you combine other features such as a Bi-Flex truss rod, a Modern "C" shaped neck, a 2-Point Synchronized tremolo and 22 medium jumbo frets, you have a complete and total winner. It's absolutely one of our favorite Strats to play and you can go from a down and dirty Stevie Ray squall to a crisp, modern Eric Johnson tone with the flick of a switch. It's as simple as that.

This girl is a clean one- yes, there are a few light belt squiggles on the back and a couple of light surface scratches on the front, but being Montego Black, you'll have to look for them. The original case and case candy are also included in the package. On a final note, if Hollyweird ever calls me to be the next captain of the Starship Enterprise (which they never will,) I'll be out in space looking for Klingon bad guys. When the first one pops up and tries to start some crap, I'd calmly notify him that if he doesn't take his bony-foreheaded behind back to his home planet, I will blow his ass out of the sky with my Samarian Cobalt Noiseless Blaster Ray. That's how cool the name of these pickups is...
