2010 Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Sunset Metallic

Summary: There are so many tonal possibilities in this Stratocaster- they are all very musical and the tone from the Fender N3 noiseless alnico magnet pickups are crisp, articulate and well balanced. This Stratocaster is finished in the stunning “Sunset Metallic” and comes with the original hard-shell case. Our in-house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this beauty with a new set of 10s, low action and a straight neck. This guitar looks, sounds and plays outstanding!

Body: It has an alder body finished in Metallic Sunrise and features a contoured heel. It has a 2 ply pearloid pickguard

Neck: The maple neck has a fast playing C profile with a compound radius on the fretboard. The neck also features supremely comfortable rolled edges that are perfectly fitted to the edges of the frets. This gives the neck a very smooth playing feel, similar to a neck that has been played on and worn in over time. It has a black Tusq nut, 25.5” scale length and 1 11/16” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: The N3 Noiseless pickups are a return to the classic Alnico magnet which has been used for years on the Fender Stratocaster. There is a volume and 2 tone knobs, S1 switch is engaged by a button in the center of the volume knob. The 2-point vibrato bridge has 6 individual black saddles, has a smooth action and keeps in tune very well. It also has locking Fender tuning keys.

Cosmetics: The finish on this Strat is in near superb condition with the exception of a ding at the very end by the strap button and a few very small dents around the body. The neck feels nice and smooth with no major blemishes save for a few small dings around the edges which are hardly detectable. Overall this guitar is in great used condition!

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets have some wear but it does not hinder playability and there is plenty of life left in them.

Modifications: Original nut and saddles have been changed.
