The American Deluxe Telecaster takes perhaps Fender’s most classic guitar model and brings it into the modern age with enhanced electronics and Fender Noiseless pickups. This is the Ash body version of the Deluxe Tele, sporting an exquisite Butterscotch blonde finish with a 1-ply black Bakelite pickguard. The S-1 switch (located on the volume knob) allows for a ton of tonal options that you won’t find on a Standard Tele! This versatility makes this guitar excellent for a huge variety of genres, from rock to funk to country or jazz. Dual Noiseless Telecaster pickups give you that classic twangy single coil sound without the added buzzing or interference that usually comes with them. The neck sports a Modern “C” shape with a 9.5” radius (14” compound) maple fingerboard, black dot inlay, and 22 medium jumbo frets. There is a blemish on the tip of the headstock where a spot of the finish has chipped away as well as a small finish crack along the outer edge of the neck pocket on the bass-hand side. Otherwise the guitar is in excellent cosmetic shape with no noticeable wear or damage. It has been professionally set-up and gone over by our in-house guitar tech and plays like a dream with comfortable, low action. It is currently strung up with round wound electric 10s. Overall this updated Tele gives you the familiar feel and sound of an iconic Fender model coupled with some modern-day tweaks to bring it into the 21st century.
