Summary: Featuring a trio of Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups, sweeping body contours and a supremely comfortable “V”-shape neck with a 7.25” radius maple fingerboard, the American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster reproduces the quintessential tone and feel of the original. Other appointments include a vintage-accurate synchronized tremolo with cold rolled steel block and bent steel saddles, single-line “Fender Deluxe” tuners and a single-ply pickguard.
Body: Alder with a gloss nitrocellulose Sea Foam Green finish.
Neck: Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 25.5” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 7.25” radius, 21 frets, 1957 soft “V” profile.
Pickups/Hardware: Three Pure Vintage ’57 Stratocaster single coil pickups, vintage tall frets, single ply pickguard, vintage style tuning keys, bone nut, master volume/2x tone controls/5-way pickup selector.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows almost no signs of use.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
