Summary: By the 1960s, the Precision Bass was the workhorse electric bass; from the clubs of Detroit to the beaches of Southern California, its tone laid the foundation for modern music. The American Original ‘60s Precision Bass has all of the features with which the P Bass conquered the world of music—elegantly simple, its sound, style and comfort are joined by modern playability.

Body: This 60’s style P-Bass has an alder body with lake placid blue lacquer finish and a tortoise pickguard.

Neck: This beautiful instrument has a thick “1963 C”-shaped maple neck with a bone nut. The rose wood fretboard has white dots and a 9.5” radius. Nut width-1 ¾” Scale length-34”

Pickups/Hardware: The pickups are Pure Vintage '63 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickups. It has the vintage style, steel, four saddle configuration and pure vintage reverse open-gear tuning machines.

Cosmetics: This bass is in fabulous condition and has almost no wear at all save for a few pick scratches on the pickguard.

Playability: This bass is a blast to play. It has been setup by our in house luthier and plays and sounds great.
