Description

2019 Fender American Professional Jazzmaster Rosewood Neck Limited Edition.

A lightly used example in near mint condition with the original case and paperwork.

From its introduction as Fender’s flagship electric guitar in 1958, the Jazzmaster has crossed genres multiple times — surf, punk, alternative, even the occasional jazz guitarist — showcasing the incredible versatility of its design. With a distinctive offset body and a unique set of controls, it carries both a look and tone that stand apart from the rest of the electric world.

This limited-edition version of the American Professional Jazzmaster boasts a one-piece solid deep-“C” profile rosewood neck and fingerboard for a distinctive touch of luxury and added tonal warmth, that’s perfectly complemented by the V-Mod Jazzmaster pickups. These pickups are wound slightly hotter than original the originals, so you can roll back the volume knob for a truly classic tone, or open it up for just a little bit of extra warmth. Added tonal features are the bone nut for a more “organic” sound and narrow-tall frets for easier bends, great sustain and accurate intonation.

The guitar also features a redesigned version of the original floating tremolo tailpiece/bridge combination. With a screw-in arm, adjustable tension, and redesigned saddles, the new system holds stable tuning even with aggressive use.

The Jazzmaster’s controls have always been unique, with separate Lead and Rhythm settings with independent volume controls and tone shaping switches, as well as a master volume/tone that features a treble-bleed circuit and 3-way pickup selector. These options provide a huge range of available tones that can be selected, blended or highlighted, as the player needs.
