This guitar is in excellent condition showing limited playing time.

The American Special Series Telecaster is Fender’s offer of an affordable U.S.-made instrument. Features include an alder body, maple neck with 9.5"-radius fingerboard and jumbo frets, Texas Special pickups, Greasebucket tone control, vintage-style string-through-body, Telecaster bridge with three brass saddles, and gloss urethane body finish with a satin urethane neck finish.

The Texas Special single-coils give you classic tones that have been a Tele trademark, however these pickups have a little something extra that sets the American Special Tele apart from previous Tele incarnations: Fender's Greasebucket tone circuit! The Greasebucket tone control rolls off highs without adding bass or affecting your volume. This is seriously cool, because it gives you explicit control over your tone onstage, without having to compensate for volume loss - making the American Special Tele a serious tone machine.
