1987 Fender American Standard Stratocaster Gunmetal Green w/hsc

Summary: This is a 1987 Fender USA Stratocaster with a rare & beautiful Gunmetal Green finish & lots of natural age from being played & loved throughout the years.
Body: Solid body single cutaway electric Stratocaster guitar with a lovely & nicely aged Gunmetal Green finish.
Neck: Maple neck with dot inlays, 22 frets, 25.75” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, original Fender tuning keys, skunk stripe down the back of the neck.
Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, one volume knob, two tone knobs, 5-way switch, chrome hardware, original Fender tuning keys, black dot inlays, W/B/W 3-ply pickguard.

Cosmetics: This vintage Fender has lots of small dings on the body & it also has some scratching on the back of the instrument – all wear is consistent with a well-loved but played Fender from the 1980’s. The jumbo frets are in great shape but the neck does show some wear on the edges of the fingerboard but it doesn’t affect playability.

Playability: This Fender has been recently set up with a set of 10’s and it plays great – the action is low & the instrument plays great up & down the fingerboard. The truss rod is fully working & the frets are in good shape with a lot of life left in them.

Modifications: The two tone knobs looks like they are replacements.
