1991 Fender AVRI '57 Stratocaster (1957 reissue) FIesta Red

Summary: This ’57 American Vintage Reissue Fender Stratocaster has a fiesta red finish, slim C maple neck with vintage tinted lacquer and excellent sounding single coil pickups. It has some wear from use, a few chips in the finish and some scuffs here and there but nothing major. Our in-house guitar tech has just setup and restrung this Strat with a new set of 10s and it plays fabulously. It ships in its original tweed hardshell case.

Body: Solid alder body with fiesta red finish and one-ply white pickguard.

Neck: Slim C maple neck with vintage tinted lacquer, vintage spec frets, 7.25” fingerboard radius, end of heel truss rod adjustment, 25.5” scale length and 1.65” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, 3 way switch, 1 volume, 2 tones, nickel parts, safety post tuners, bent steel saddles with synchronized trem and white plastic knobs and covers.

Cosmetics: This Strat has some scuffs and dings on the body, especially around the edges where the chips go down to the wood. There are some scratches around the edges too but they aren’t very deep. There are some chips in the lacquer on the back of the neck and around some of the fret ends. There are some red scuffs on the bass side of the neck and middle pickup and on the volume knob. The pickguard has warped a little bit by the neck pickup.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. There is some minor wear around the first 3 frets from use but it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Modifications: Some of the white plastic parts have been changed like the middle tone knob and possibly the switch tip.
