Description

This 1967 Fender Bandmaster head is in very good cosmetic condition showing signs of play wear and age throughout including some small dings and nicks in the original Tolex covering and some small scratches on the silver control panel. The foot switch, back cover panel and “drip edge” are missing in action. This amp is in excellent operating order and has been serviced. There is a three prong power cable installed for safe operation. The transformers are all original - two date to the 42nd and 23rd week of 1967 and one dates to the 22nd week of 1966. All of the potentiometers are original and there are visible codes that date these components to the 32nd week of 1966. This is the first year for the silver panel Bandmaster. These came directly after the black panel models, in the same year actually, and were built prior to the Bandmaster Reverb. This amp sounds really fantastic. Pushing 40 watts of power, this Bandmaster has plenty of umph, handles pedals well and will really deliver some quality vintage saturation with the volume pushed.
