1959 Fender Bassman 5F6-A Tweed, Very Good

Considering nearly all Bassmans were gigged, this one is in pretty nice shape. The original tweed is a little beat up as are the top corners of the cabinet but it is almost completely original and working great. The panel is as clean as you will find with all the lettering intact and no rust or pitting to the chrome. Here's what been done-the filter caps were done, a few of the non tone caps were done. The cord is a three prong. Handle is repro. It looks like the standby switch was replaced. All four speakers were recently re-coned. Looks like it once had a set of wheels. That's it. The yellow Astrons are original. All trannies are original. The tweed and grill cloth are original. The Jensen blueback P10R speakers are all date coded 1959. The chassis and chart are date coded "IK" which is November 59. Amp is quiet and the tone is superb (and loud).
