Description

If you're a guitar player who wants to play the bass, a Fender VI is a pretty unique choice. It's a six thing bass that feels more like a guitar (tuned an octave down) with a longer scale than your guitar but a shorter scale than a Precision or Jazz bass. I don't know who had the lame idea to put a vibrato on it but it's the locking type and you can leave it locked and ignore it. This is a one owner bass with some fairly minor mods. It has Grover tuners which is probably an improvement over trying to tune a bass with a set of Klusons. It had a finger rest (included) which I removed leaving two little holes in the guard which, with the screws in it is barely noticeable. There's a few dings and scrapes especially on the back but everything works well, there is little player wear and it's a very cool and rare instrument. No other changed parts or mods. Everything works great. The bridge cover is missing. Case is brand new Fender branded case made specifically for this model.
