This Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 Combo is a two-channel, tube-driven electric guitar amp that offers a modern take on traditional Fender combos. Featuring a dark gray lacquered tweed covering, it houses a killer combination of tubes and speakers to give you a nice full and warm tone with bell-like clean and gritty crunch tones from Channel 1 and plenty of power amp overdrive from Channel 2. This has a pair of 12"" Celestion G12V-70 speakers, and is powered by four EL84 power tubes and three 12AX7/Ecc83 preamp tubes. The two switchable channels go between 30 and 18 watts (Channel 1 and 2, respectively), with Channel 1 being modeled after the Blackface Deluxe and offering extra headroom; while Channel 2 is modeled after an 18-watt version of the brown '61 Deluxe and provides a lower-headroom, tube-driven overdrive. Regardless how you play it, though, it sounds great. The Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 Combo is a versatile tube amp that works great in the studio or for small- and medium-sized venues. But if you want to go bigger, it does have two parallel speaker outputs for even more volume.
