Offered for sale;

Used Fender ’59 Bassman 5F6A Reissue with Hoffman point to point wiring upgrade, serial number AA05845.

This amp is in very good to excellent condition. Cosmetically there are a few minor imperfections in the tweed, overall all quite nice.

This is an interesting amp AND sounds killer. Much more presence and definition that the stock tweed Bassman reissue.

Here’s how it began life, Fender states:
“The modern edition of one of the greatest guitar amps ever made. The mighty 4x10" Bassman began life as a bass amp before guitar players discovered its sonic wonders and adopted it as their own. Prized by guitarists everywhere for more than half a century now, it lives on as a must-have guitar amp treasured for its pure sound, workhorse reliability, classic style and uncluttered ease of use. Countless guitar players have rediscovered the great simple pleasure of plugging into this amp, and today's '59 Bassman LTD delivers wide stage coverage, touch-sensitive dynamics and full-frequency tone that make it perfect for building great sound with any guitar and effect. A Fender classic then and now.”

Then the printed circuit board was upgraded to Hoffman Amps point to point wiring conversion kit. There are lots of options on these Hoffman upgrades.

New transformers and ceramic tube sockets are also available but this particular amp is just the point-to-point board and components. A complete parts list is readily available for the 5F6A circuit on the Hoffman web site.

Very cool, great sounding amp! Great addition to you gear lineup!

“We test every used amp and pedal when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. Then we burn it in for an hour or so before we ship so that there are no surprises.”

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.

This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.

*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.

If you prefer your item to be sent without a required signature Imperial Guitar and the selected carrier can no longer be responsible for the security of the package once it has been delivered.
