Up for sale is a great sounding and recently serviced 1963 Fender Bassman 6G6-B head with matching 2×12 piggy-bag speaker cab. This amplifier does have some mods and general service but overall is a nice and tight vintage Fender from the blonde era of Fender amplifiers. Tube chart is coded “MI” dating to September 1963, output transformer is coded 606319 dating to the 19th week of 1963. The power transformer has been replaced with a Mercury Magnetics. The original Oxford speakers have been replaced with a set of Warehouse G12C75s which sound great. The original speakers are included and need to be re-coned. The grill cloth on both the head and cab have been replaced with very correct looking cloth. Sounds and functions great and would make a great studio amp or addition to a blonde collection.

Year: 1963.

Model: Bassman 6G6-B Blonde

Serial: 07431.

Condition: Excellent.

Modifications: Mercury Magnetics replacement power transformer; Warehouse G12C75 replacement speakers; new grill cloth.

Comments: Great sounding and recently serviced 1963 Fender Bassman 6G6-B head with matching 2x12 piggy-bag speaker cab!
