Description

We have a historic guitar here, as this incredible 1950 Fender Broadcaster in Blond comes to us from the collection of The Who bassist John Entwistle! This guitar is photographed and featured in his book, “Bass Culture: The John Entwistle Collection,” labeled on page 44 as his oldest guitar. Because this is a first-year example, it features very early appointments, slot head screws throughout, and even a maple truss rod plug at the nut when most Fender instruments received one in walnut! In addition, this neck was refretted and refinished to ensure it had many more years of playing. This refin job is pro and seems to have been done long ago, evidenced by its wear.

Overall Condition:  7, general wear and weather checking
