This 1960 Fender Stratocaster represents an important transition period for the model, featuring the desirable slab rosewood fingerboard, a neck date of 5-60 and potentiometers dating to the 46th week of 1959 (code: 304 5946). The electronics are original and functional. The guitar has been professionally refretted and shows some fingerboard rutting from playwear. The finish appears original but has been buffed at some point on what appears to be a rare Ash body. Minor dings and scuffs are present. One tremolo spring is replaced. The original tremolo cover/back plate is included in the case but not installed. The tremolo arm is likely original. 7.4lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Good.
