Weight: 6 lb 10 oz

Comments: This remarkable 1950 Broadcaster was rescued from a church basement 30 years ago where it was found disassembled in a cardboard box. The finder had the body refinished upon acquiring it and replaced the broken pickguard. The original pickguard is in the repro tweed case. It appears that the neck was sprayed over, probably in the 70s when the neck was planed and refretted. It has 70s pots and the original selector switch. The closed shell Kluson tuners are original and it appears that the pickups are proper era and possible rewound or rewired. This is an incredible instrument that weighs in at 6lbs 10oz. There are no discernible neck or body dates but there is no question the neck is the real deal and the body certainly has all the indication that it the real deal as well. This is a great opportunity to own a legend at a very reasonable price.
