DESCRIPTION
We just can’t get enough Tweed amps! For your consideration a 1957 Fender Champ covered in tweed! At first glance this small little amp seems quite underwhelming but once you plug in you’ll quickly become as enthusiastic about this amp as the first day you started rockin! There is a common misconception that all the heaviest distorted riffs were recorded on 100 watt Marshalls but as a matter of fact often our favorite riffs were recorded on little tweed Champs just like this one! 5 watts all tube out of an 8? speaker just makes these little amps really shine in the studio. It is much easier to capture the rich harmonic depth of tube distortion with these great little amps.

Specs! This amp is in good condition. Freshly serviced, replaced filter caps with modern spragues. Three prong grounded cable. The tubes are non-original but vintage. 5 watts all tube. Single 6V6 and a 12AX7s. One knob, Volume!

If you want rich tube harmonic distortion look no further! The beauty of this amp is in its ability to react to your picking dynamics. Set it around 5 to get clear, warm tube cleans with light picking but gritty hairy break up when you start picking hard. If your looking for mean power chords just turn this thing up to 10 and start digging in! Would make a great addition to any studios amp line up!
