1955 Fender Champion MOTS Yellow Seymour Duncan Antiquity Pickup

NIce players 1955 Champion Lap Steel that is half the price on an original one. Sounds & plays great. Knobs & Pickup changed out, now has a brand new unused Seymour Duncan Antiquity lapsteel pickup & screws & springs, made specifically for these: the footprint is perfect. The knobs are changed, they may be fakes, or they may be circ 1963 13 gram style knobs. I would go on the assumption they are fakes. Other than the pickup & the knobs, this is original. Input jack is original, string ferrules, screws are all original, as are the pots, one of which dates to 1955, 11th week. Tuners are "No Line, shaft thru, No Pat-Pending" as you would expect in 1955, as are the phillips head screws all over the guitar. The Fuzz on the back is worn off except at the headstock area, and you can see the pronounced swamp ash grain through the finish. Control cavity is clean and shows the original Telecaster blonde finish in the cavity.The mother of toilet seat plastic covering has bubbled in a few places, which can be glued back down. There is one imperfection near this area that is not repairable. Look at the pics closely for these spots. Case is not original to the guitar and is from a 1953 Champion Lap Steel, is in rough condition. Shipping may vary based on your location
