Here we have a Fender Crafted-in-Japan (CIJ) ’62 Reissue Custom Telecaster with upgraded Lollar pickups. Neck position has a uniquely wound Lollar Royal T pickup made with Alnico 5 magnets and vintage style cloth-covered lead wire. Bridge position is armed with a Lollar BS (Bar Style) pickup designed for fat, clear tone with loads of sustain, comparable to a Lollar Imperial humbucker in output. We can’t say enough about these pickups. This guitar sounds like a Tele but much more. It’s really unique and ballsy in a way that most Teles can’t match. Plays beautifully as well.
Basic Specs: Nickel vintage-style Fender tuners. 1 5/8 inch Corian nut. Very clean Maple neck with a 25.5 inch scale length. Neck depth measures .85 inches at the first fret and .98 inches at the twelfth fret. Rosewood fingerboard with dot markers and a 7.25 inch radius. 21 regular frets in excellent condition. Basswood body finished in Vintage White with Black double binding. Mint green pickguard. After-market compensated Brass saddles.
Sounds killer. Plays great. This Tele would make a great addition to anyone’s arsenal. Comes with a Gig Bag in excellent condition.
