The Fender Concert Tone 55 Resonator Banjo is part of Fender's series of modern interpretations of its classic '60s banjos. A nod to how they were made 50 years ago, they're finely crafted with high-end materials for a rich tone and incredible playability. Here with a Mahogany resonator with a Sunburst finish, it has a Mahogany rim and a rolled brass tone ring giving it particularly clean highs. The neck is also Mahogany and in a Rounded V shape, while the fingerboard is Rosewood and with a flat radius. It has a 26.4" scale length and a 1.3" nut width. It's also loaded with nice appointments, including aged white binding and black trim, and vintage nouveau acrylic white pearloid inlays, as well as a Concert Tone block inlay on the 18th fret. Made with materials and features found on much more expensive banjos, the Fender Concert Tone 55 Resonator Banjo is an affordable option for players looking to get started, or for those looking for a secondary instrument.
